Question about Legend of the Seeker

I’ve been watching the show on Netlfix, and it feels like they explain some things over and over and gloss over other things.

I don’t understand the cosmology of the world, as presented in the show. There’s the Creator and the Keeper. The Keeper rules the Underworld, which looks like Hell or at least Tartarus. Every person (we’ve seen) (I’m only up to Season 2, ep 12) who dies ends up there.

Yet in Season 1, Kahlen talked about being with Richard in the Underworld for Eternity, and that other, earlier Confessor and Seeker went off happily to the Underworld, so it seemed like a nice place.

Is there a Heaven and Hell of sorts, or is it like Sumeria or Ancient Greece, where the only after life is a not-so-nice one?

  2. thighhighdalish answered: I was too busy wondering how the population didn’t die out considering how many assassin orders seemed to be just women that kept dying
  3. ouyangdan answered: This isn’t even very clear in the books. I think that the Keeper is supposed to rule the dead and it isn’t supposed to be corrupt, but is?
